| See first hand what happens when rushing water meets exposed sandstone...slot canyons! You'll appreciate the power of erosion as we traverse these wonders of nature. These canyons and the surrounding desert terrain can be extremely dangerous for the unprepared, but we have the experience and knowledge to get you through the difficult stretches. |

This is a strenuous adventure.
There is about three miles of hiking involved. This
adventure is not for anyone that is claustrophobic. Additionally, all
participants must be able to fit through a ten inch wide slot (start that
diet today!). Sturdy, closed-toe shoes and a small daypack are required.
Bring at least 2 litres of water.
The Slot Canyon Adventure
departs from Escalante at
8 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. This
adventure takes about five and a half hours, usually returning at 1:30-2 p.m.
To ensure your enjoyment, we will take no more
than eight people on this adventure.
